Elizabeth Lambert Turns Violent During Soccer Game

Elizabeth Lambert attacked other players during a soccer game. In one case another woman hit her first with her elbow. In the picture above on the bottom right, you can see Elizabeth hitting her in the back in response to that. You can see the whole incident in the video below. I heard a lot of complaints against the ref for letting this go on. They don’t always see something like that because they can’t look everywhere. There should be a few more refs. If a player believes she was mistreated, she should tell the ref and they should take a break and play back the video so people can examine it. I’ve been saying this for years about baseball. If there’s a dispute about a call, stop the game and watch the video. They don’t do that in baseball or soccer. Do the unions for umpires and refs object to that? Maybe its because people think its too much trouble to do it that way. Elizabeth was suspended and she said she was sorry, her emotions got the better of her.
